Polymeric Sand in Toronto
Reduce moss and weeds while keeping your stone looking fresh
What is polymeric sand?
The majority of exterior interlock is held together with polymeric sand. Polymeric sand is a granular substance that fills in the gaps between interlocking stone, and when water is applied turns into a glue making your hardscape a more durable surface. The sand comes in black, grey and beige (custom colours can be available).
Polymeric sand should be re-applied the second you notice that certain areas have been washed away or weeds are slowly starting to appear. Once weeds have fully overgrown the area, it is difficult to remove them for good.
Professional Help with your polymeric sand project
The application of polymeric sand needs to be done with a professional knowledgable company, otherwise a variety of issues can arise. Polymeric sand can be a difficult product to work with, requiring specific weather conditions, proper water spraying techniques and a knowledge of the depths of stonework. Polymeric sand will not help with the level of stonework, therefore it is recommended that a mason or landscaper fix any underlying issues prior to using polymeric sand.

Full Exterior Makeover
“Calling them “the Deck People” doesn’t do this team justice. We had the team do an entire exterior makeover including cleaning and staining cedar shake, sanding and painting deck, painting siding, window frames, gutters, and doorways. They did it all. And they did it quickly and well! You will never regret working with them!” -Lauren
Top Notch "Care Factor" In Quality Work & Customer Service
“The crew did top quality work cleaning all of our windows and clearing the eaves troughs of debris. They went above and beyond clearing debris and tools found on the roof (left by a neighbour’s trades on a past job) and they added a few extras at no cost. Thanks to them for building such a great local business with such a great team!” -Unknown
